Space Punk [concept design]

It actually took me quite a while to design this set of space punk characters. At the beginning, I made the decision to create some space-themed works because it was the first time that I came to know such a novel and interesting concept of “space punk” and in the meantime I just couldn’t stop wondering what life would be like in space, a place I have a special yearning for since childhood. As I started working on it, I deliberately exaggerated the silhouette of each character to make them more recognizable and distinguishable. Some space features were also added to give their equipment a more high-tech look. (The first character in the left was inspired by Ashley Wood.)
